Treatment for Uncomplicated Spider & Uncomplicated Reticular Veins
Are you bothered by spider veins? You’re not alone, many women are troubled by these unpleasant veins. These “spider” veins are typically characterized by numerous small veins radiating out from a center point and can be found on any part of the body but are typically present on the legs or face.
Is Vein Therapy Right for Me?
Unsightly veins can be caused by numerous factors including heredity, age, gender, pregnancy or prolonged standing or sitting. If you have spider veins less than 1 mm in diameter, or reticular veins less than 3 mm in diameter, treatment with sclerotherapy or laser therapy may be right for you.

How It Works
A sclerosing agent is injected directly into the vein. The agent works by damaging the endothelium, the cells lining the inside of blood vessels. This causes blood platelets to attach to the lining of the vessels; eventually, cellular debris and platelets cause the blood vessel to clot. Over time, the clotted vein will be replaced with tissue.
